What are the best paying call centers?After doing extensive research that covered the various regions of the United States I have come to the conclusion that the best paying call center is within Qwest. There are a multitude of call centers that pay around the same wage but time and time again it always came back to Qwest hands down. Not only are the wages typically five to ten dollars more an hour than the average call center, their benefits also weigh in when I took everything into consideration. The reason I did this was because when you look at a wage of your typical call center representative you also have to take into consideration how much the company takes out for various taxes, medical benefits and other expenses that always seem to cut into your check. What I found when I was doing my comparison is that Qwest offers the same wage to all customer representatives no matter what area of the United States. Other companies tend to pay what is the going rate in the area of the call center. Some places have a higher cost of living so they pay a bit more and visa versa. Qwest however pays top notch all across the board. Qwest also offers a guaranteed raise every six months until you hit the top level of your job level. It is not based on your job ability or lack thereof. So depending on what level you start at, it can be as little as 2 years until you hit your top pay scale or longer depending where you start. Qwest benefits are the best I have seen in any company in a long time. For the medical, dental and vision plans there is no deductible that comes from the employees paycheck, that is paid fully by the company. You can choose HMO or PPO or POS depending on which one best suits your needs. They also cover mental health issues in the same way. They will pay 100% tuition reimbursements when going to finish your 4 year degree or higher. They have online training as well that is done through the company which is totally free to their employees. Combine all these factors together and it shows you that Qwest is the best paying call center in the United States at this time. |
